Sondra... yeah you....

Sondra... yeah you.... over there... lady with the baby.
Yes... if it isn't too much trouble I would appreciate it. I get the feeling we're gonna need one?
Front porch is fine... just close the gate behind you so Bambi doesn't eat my flowers.
Thank YOU very much for offering.
Everyone else.. please disregard this post... just answering a private message. ;o)

OK you just freaked me out! It's 5am and I haven't had any coffee yet - I log on to your blog - and see that heading.

It's my pleasure to help in any way I can.
We'll drop it off Saturday (I hope I can find the directions - Tom's says it's pretty easy)
If there's any else you need, let me know. Nothing perishable (obviously) - but non-perishables would be fine.

Have a safe trip home.
Kisses,
Sondra

Lee,

I see you put Tamara's crib on the other side of your bed. Good move! You must have remembered my story about the closet door top molding/railing falling...and Thank God Dominic was NOT in his crib at the time.

Good investigative work on the roof top...makes sense when you think on it a bit.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
You are all coming home. The flag must be new, but nice touch. Dominic did not get one.

Yes! Once you get to JFK, which is where we came in, too, you go through immigration/customs...they finally open the packet. These documents stay with them. They are used to get his citizen papers prepared, which automatically comes in the mail a few weeks later...Neat!!!

We haven't investigated getting the original documents back. But I think we already have original copies of everything, except the American/Georgian doctor's report.

If only it was this easy for all immigrants! With all the RED TAPE we think Adoption has, it really cuts through alot a RED TAPE when you think about the fact that this child is now a citizen when she/he lands on US soil. I made sure to put Dominic's feet to the ground when we landed even though he was fast asleep in my arms.

The trip home will be long, but with Tamara bonded so well to you both, she should be fine. Just keep doing what you both having doing so well.

If you are leaving on Saturday, you will be home Saturday even though you have traveled ~ 24 hours. You will need at least 1-2 days to get your sleep sort back on schedule. We left on a Thursday, got in on that same Thursday. We only had the cat sitter stop by on Friday. We were able to hold off visitors untill the weekend. Since it will be the weekend when you get in, it will be temping for family, neighbors & friends to stop in or call....BUT EVERYONE DOES NEEDS TO WAIT ON THIS!!!

WELCOME HOME Tamara!!!
Dominic, Clara, Lou and I all await our turn to visit and meet you!

All the best,
Filomena
